1E, which detects PC software program issues , acquired by Germany’s TeamViewer for $720M | TechCrunch

UK-based 1E, which detects software program issues on desktop PCs remotely, has been acquired by Germany-based remote-working firm TeamViewer for $720 million on a cash-free, debt-free foundation.

That is TeamViewer’s biggest-ever acquisition and can enable it to increase its North American market. 1E, which was bought to Carlyle Group in 2021, has a number of giant US clients together with HP and Nike.

In keeping with an announcement issued throughout its sale in 20221, Carlyle acquired a majority stake in 1E in 2021, with the corporate’s founder, Sumir Karayi, retaining a big minority stake.
